Some types of mattresses should be turned and rotated every few weeks to help smooth out contours. After a few months, turn and rotate periodically to help equalize the wear and tear that normally occurs. Occasionally rotating the foundation (box spring) from end to end is good, too! King mattresses should be rotated one quarter turn ever few weeks. Even though the mattress isn’t perfectly square, it will still fit on your box spring.
Be sure to use a sturdy, high quality bed frame. If it’s a queen or king size set, make sure your frame has a center support to ensure validation of your warranty claim. Unless you have a platform bed frame, the use of box springs is required for your manufacturing warranty to be valid.
Contrary to popular belief, it’s not illegal for you to remove the law label, however the information on the label will serve as a means of identification should you have a warranty claim.
Bending or folding your mattress while transporting or placing your mattress into your home may damage your mattress. The interior components of the mattress are not meant to be bent. Causing damage to the interior components will void your manufacturer warranty. Additionally, do not allow children to jump on the mattress set. Doing this may cause damage to the interior construction of the mattress which will void your warranty.
Warranty Terms & Conditions:
Furniture & Mattress Discount King follows the industry standard with the terms and conditions on mattress warranties. Mattress warranties includes manufacture defects and workmanship (excluding cover and handles). We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any valid warranty claim. Purchaser must have their original receipt as proof of purchase. The mattress cannot be soiled or stained in any way. Your warranty may be invalid if not purchased with a matching box spring or foundation and/or a center support on a queen or king mattress. Comfort impressions are normal and are not considered a valid warranty claim unless the impression is greater than 2” deep. Rotating your mattress will minimize comfort impressions. Transportation costs for any associated warranty issues are the responsibility of the purchaser.
